One of our recommended caterers that have come to provide excellent meals and service at Penblaith and Trevase Barns on many occasions. They can also deliver freshly cooked food to your specifications to warm in the oven.
- Bistro Prego
A lovely bistro in the charming market town of Monmouth. Closer to Penblaith Barn but still only 20 minutes drive away. (01600 712600)
- Cake aspirations
After a very successful career as a chef, Beccy is now running her own business creating beautiful and delicious cakes and other treats, as well as continuing to cater for dinner parties and events. Bespoke cakes can be made to order for your special occasion and she can also run hands-on cookery sessions at Penblaith or Trevase to your requirements.
- Cakes and Catering
With a lifetime of experience in the baking and catering industry, Jan and Linda provide beautiful bespoke cakes. They also offer afternoon teas either dropped off or with waitress service at Penblaith Barn or Trevase Granary.

There are many good golf clubs in the locality to enjoy, including Celtic Manor, the home of the 2011 Ryder Cup only 30 minutes away! Fantastic Spa and restaurants for those who prefer to be pampered.

- Let us Cater
If you would really like to put your feet up on your holiday we would recommend Teresa and Garry Elcock to be your live in holiday cooks. In conjunction with the party leader you can plan a menu suitable for your group taking into consideration the style of dining preferred, the numbers involved and any budgetary requirements. They will do the rest! For a minimum period of a weekend or midweek and requiring one bedroom they offer a friendly and professional service at a very reasonable price.

- Pengethley Farm Shop
A well stocked farm shop with fresh local produce only a few minutes drive from Trevase Granary on the A49. Offering a wide range of food and drink including delicious BBQ packs and roasting joints all with free delivery:

- Red Lion at Peterstow
A short drive from Trevase Granary, The Red Lion offers good pub food and good portions.
For great food and a party atmosphere we recommend Saxty's bar in Hereford city centre. Perfect for hen parties.(01432 357872)

- The Bell at Skenfrith
The restaurant at the Bell at Skenfrith has won many awards for its food, including 2 aa rosettes. People travel from far afield to enjoy the fine food on offer here. Open fires make it cosy in Winter and in Summer there is no better place than on the garden terrace where food from their kitchen garden can be enjoyed. A cosy 15th century pub and restaurant with very good food. About a 10 minute drive from Trevase Granary towards Hereford. (01432) 840242
- The Garway Moon Inn
A lovely 18th century country inn with a playground situated overlooking Garway Common (there is also a playground on the common). Its Pizza and Pint deal (Wednesdays) and Curry and Pint deal (Thursdays) remain ever popular, as does their Sunday roasts with locally sourced produce. Located in between Penblaith Barn and Trevase Granary. (01600 750270)

A lovely cosy bistro pub and restaurant at nearby Sellack offers beautiful local food.

- Westons Cider Mill
Have a tour around Westons Cider Mill on the other side of Ross on Wye. It of course includes some cider and perry tasting. The Scrumpy House offers delicious meals, the Tea Rooms also house a huge bottle collection and there is a play park and some animals to keep children occupied
